The Neighborhood
Located about an hour to the east of downtown Nashville in Wilson County, Lebanon is a sprawling community surrounding a traditional town square. It was incorporated in 1801, making it one of the oldest communities in the state and similar in style to Columbia and Franklin. Many large companies call Lebanon home, including Cracker Barrel and Dell, as well as Cumberland University, a private, four-year college.
The Market
Homes in Lebanon vary from sprawling estates perfect for horses or cattle to quaint single-family ranches or cabins in tight-knit neighborhoods. Its proximity to Old Hickory Lake also makes lakeside living an easy reality.
The Lifestyle
Families residing in Lebanon enjoy a slow pace but lots of options for activities. The town hosts several annual events such as Symphony on the Lawn, Sherry's Run, movies in the park, and the county fair. The square is seeing beautiful revitalization and the plantation homes along Main Street make a great place for a stroll. Cedars of Lebanon and other parks and recreation areas make great places for some fresh air, and the outlet mall draws in locals and non-locals alike looking for a great deal.
